2 Services The Australian Turntable company has the capabilities of working with our clients from the concept stage all the way through to the commissioning of a product onsite. ATC prides itself on delivering a quality Australian made product.

2.1 Design and Engineering ATC’s design work is completed in‐house using 3D computer modeling software (Solidworks). Designing with Solidworks allows the turntable to be manufactured using the latest manufacturing techniques available, optimizing manufacturing costs, allowing delivery in modular pre‐fabricated parts, and the minimal possible tolerances. This would result in benefits for transportation and delivering tolerances that ensure ease of assembly eliminating most of the onsite fabrication requirements. Structural designs are checked and supported by specialist engineers, where FEA is applied to make sure the design meets or exceeds the set requirements and Australian Standards.

2.2 Manufacturing Manufacturing and assembly will take place at ATC’s manufacturing facility in Kangaroo Flat, Victoria, Australia. ATC uses best practice manufacturing techniques involving assembly jigs and a robust quality control system which ensures the highest level of workmanship through all manufacturing phases, while welding is performed by skilled and certified tradesmen, and exposed to rigorous tests. Component parts outsourced by ATC will be supplied by manufacturers with a proven history of delivering equipment for harsh environments, and to the minimum quality meeting our requirements. Details of selected suppliers will be made available after engineering & design completion. Clients are welcome to visit ATC facilities anytime during manufacturing.

The product and documentation were passed as compliant without the need for rework at any stage.

2.3 Installation, Commissioning and Training ATC provide highly trained and skilled supervision team for installation, testing, commissioning & training, while the required manpower may be supplied by the Client, for a more cost‐effective solution. Installation will be scheduled and coordinated with the Client’s team to satisfy site requirements and work program.

2.4 Project Management ATC will appoint a Project Manager at the start of the Project, who will manage the design, procurement, and manufacturing activities. They will also be in charge of close coordination with the Client and his engineers regarding all the technical details and project progress/planning, quality assurance, etc. ensuring a satisfactory execution and handing over to the Client.

2.5 Quality Assurance Australian Turntable Company has been accredited to ISO 9001:2008 since 2003; all works will be carried out in accordance with the certification requirements. Our current Quality Assurance certificate will be attached.

3 Selected Previous Projects

3.1 National Museum of Australia In 1998 The Australian Turntable Company were requested to quote on the design, build and installation of a 12metre diameter auditorium theatre revolve for the Australian Government's New National Museum in Canberra. The design brief called for extremely accurate interfacing with the surrounding stationary theatre structures along with sophisticated acceleration and deceleration movements and accurate timing sequences to coordinate with the theatre visuals and sound. Specialized solutions at the time had to be developed to stop entrapment during the operation of the turntable. The turntable was segmented into quarters with 1 quarter serving as an on/off station and the remaining 3 a 3 part audio visual presentation. Acoustic treatment was essential so that the different segments couldn’t detect the adjacent presentation. Please see testimonials attached.

3.2 Milad Tower Revolving Restaurant At 50 meters, this turntable is the world’s largest revolving restaurant platform. Its size and situation within the world’s fourth tallest tower meant that we were, for the first time, unable to pre-assemble and test the turntable before shipping. Armed with the confidence in our stringent quality systems, design and skilled workmanship, we were able install the turntable without the need to rework any components much to the amazement of all on site. The tolerances and tests again exceeded our clients expectations, ensuring the project was signed off by extremely satisfied customers

3.3 Rio Tinto Sizer Turntable The six-meter 100-tonne turntable used by Rio Tinto in the harsh environment of the Pilbara region at the north of Western Australia has helped the global mining giant save millions of dollars in lost time maneuvering 100 tonne sizer machines on their way to and from the maintenance facilities. Precise programmed movements were critical for this project as significant damaged would be caused if the rail lines didn’t match up properly. Rio took delivery of the turntable at the end of an 18 month project that saw us design, engineer, manufacture,

testing and freight to the site. After taking part in a stringent tender process, we won the project against strong competition from a number of companies around the world. Due to the success of our first project in 2007-2008 ATC were appointed to build a second unit which is currently under manufacture for completion in May 2013. Figures 1-7 are of the first project during the different stages of the project.

3.4 F1 Helmet ATC were approached to design, Engineer and manufacture an Australian first product that incorporated the use of a mobile crane to lift 6 passengers 30 meters above the track at the Australian F1 Grand Prix 2013 at Albert Park. There were a number of road blocks put before us to get signoff from Worksafe, standards Australia and the CFMEU for this project to go forward. ATC designed, engineered, manufactured, documented, tested and delivered a world class product within an incredible 4 week period.

3.5 Azerbaijan Through an International RFI ATC were asked to provide an air film turntable 15 meters in diameter to carry a 30 Ton truck all within a 250mm turntable depth. They requested an air film type turntable as another supplier had specified this was the only way to deliver the turntable within the 250mm height restriction. After looking at tender request ATC suggested an alternative solution to solve their height restriction and deliver the benefit on not using air technology. ATC re-designed and engineered our standard truck turntable which was 400mm in height down to 250mm and utilized our standard electric drive method. This delivered major benefits to the client’s operational costs for the following reasons 1. Removal of need to constantly run an air compressor to deliver 14 Cubic Meters per Second that required

a 200AMP 3Phase connection. ATC is using 3Phase/20amp connection

2. Removal of 8m x 5m specific room to house the compressor. ATC use an 800x600mm control box

3. Removal of need for specialized tools and trades for the maintenance of the compressor
