Introduction
Sudan University of Science and Technology(SUST) is a public university, it’s roots go backto Khartoum Technical School and theCommercial School in 1902, through theRadiology School in 1932, the Arts School in1946, the Technical Institute of Khartoum in1950, the Shambat Agricultural Institute in1954, the Institute of Music and Theatre, andthe Higher Institute of Physical Education forTeachers. These institutions were assembled tobecome the Institute of Technological Collegesin 1975 as the largest institution of technicaleducation in Sudan, which was upgraded toSudan University of Science and Technology(SUST) in 1990. In 2018, SUST has 25colleges, 11 centers and institutes, and 6deanships with more than 70000 students inundergraduate.
The justifications for the
establishment of this center:
1. The urgent need for a Centre that supports technologyand innovation in Sudan.2. The need for knowledge and technical support foruniversities to manage knowledge assets and transferscientific research outputs to products, goods and services.3. Facilitate the openness of universities and researchCentre's to the local community and know their needs andhelp in finding innovative solutions.4. The need of universities and research Centre's for aCentre that supports the implementation of the university'splan and strategy in the field of technology transfer andmarketing of scientific research outputs.5. Supporting universities and research Centre's for theGlobal Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).6. To benefit from the technical support provided by WIPOto LDCs in the field of technology and innovation.7. Keeping pace with the global development in technology and innovation.
Vision & Mission of SUST – TISC:

Work to gain the Global Goals forsustainable development goals (SDGs2015-2030)including quality education,industry, Innovation, and sustainability.
To become a national platform for technology and innovation support in Sudan.
Objectives:
The general objective of SUST – TISC is:Technology for Development including:1. Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship forSudanese community2. Encouraging university staff and students topresent their ideas and transform them intoinnovations for economic value.3. Facilitate the application, transfer andutilization of innovative ideas4. Marketing innovations and excellent researchideas5. Working as an incubator for innovations in theUniversity and Sudan and providing technicalsupport to other incubators6. Form a sustainable research and productiveplatform for the development of knowledge'seconomy in Sudan.

Preparing available information ontechnology and innovations of intellectualproducts at the university, which includestechnology that can be applied and utilized.
5. Facilitating the transfer of technologyfrom the university and scientific andresearch institutions to the industrialsector and the introduction of intellectualproducts and patents for smart strategicpartnerships6. Overseeing innovative technologyprojects.7. Providing consultations to companies,institutions and beginners in technologyand innovation.8. Any other tasks entrusted to it by theBoard of Directors or the Director of theCenter.

Exchange of experiences with relevantauthorities and transfer of knowledge.
Any other tasks entrusted to it by the Board ofDirectors or the Director of the center.

Provide technical support to the unitsand trainees.
Follow-up electronic servers andovercome technical difficulties.
Providing technical means for facultymembers and researchers at theuniversity to access intellectualproperty data and information fromtheir sites.
Supervise the Center's websiteDesigning the center's evaluation forms
and ensuring their quality.Any other tasks entrusted to it by the
Board of Directors or the Director ofthe Center.
