Review the four components of the wellness wheel (Social, Psychological, Physical, and Spiritual)
Have students do the fill in the blanks for the PPT.
ACTIVITY (Interactive Instruction)-20 minutes
Students will participate in 4 activities that let them experience each dimensiono Activity one: Jumping Jacks (Physical)-4 minuteso Activity two: Questionnaire (Social)-Pair up with someone you don’t know. You
will have 5 minutes to get to know them. -4 minuteso Activity three: Pictionary/Trivial pursuit (Psychological) 4 minuteso Activity four: CD Player (Spirituality)-4 minutes
Discussion (4 minutes)o Can you identify which activity represented which dimension?o How could practicing these activities/skills improve this dimension? Why?o What was your favorite activity? Least favorite activity? Why?

Explain the Wellness Inventory sheet, Wellness Wheel, and questions (Handouts) Provide students with 10 minutes of class to start these handouts. They will need to
hand these in to me by the beginning of Period 1 Tuesday, October 16th.

Wellness Inventory Sheet, Wellness Wheel, and questions are due Tuesday October 16th. Friday we will be going to the Golden Mile for billiards. Students need to be at the
school by 8:45 am. (Dress appropriately-we are walking)
