Special FeatureAt Stanley, we define our “light” to be the wavelength from 1 nm to 1 mm. This includes X-rays, ultraviolet rays, visible light, infrared rays, millimeter waves, and certain microwaves. Stanley contributes to society by discovering the infinite possibilities of light and using them in our technology and products to create value for humankind.

Projector HID Headlamps

Our dual-light projector unit headlamps have been adopted on the Accord (Honda Motor Co., Ltd.).

They have been adopted together with an active cornering light that illuminates the road surface immediately in front of the headlamp when turning left or right, which contributes to ensuring safety when driving at nighttime.

LED Flood Lamps

Using our u l t ra -nar row-angle l ight d is t r ibut ion technology, these flood lamps are the first in the world to make it possible to illuminate just a target object up to as far away as 60m ahead.

What is more, they have achieved energy savings of greater than 90% while retaining performance identical to that of conventional mercury lamps. During events commemorating the 150-year anniversary of Japanese-German relations in September 2011 these flood lamps were used to light up Brandenburg Gate, which is a symbol of Berlin.

LED Street Lights

These are street lights that can replace the current mercury lighting. Since they employ an optical lens to concentrate the direction of the light down towards the street, they are able to curb light leaking upwards, thereby giving consideration to the natural and residential environment.

They have been adopted as street lights in various areas, thereby contributing to saving electricity and lengthening the lifespan of street lights.
