DL3000 Test Procedure

1. Connect the test cable from Power Supply to Eload input terminals, turn

on the CH1 of DP832A and set the Voltage value to 5V.

2. The S+, S- terminals should be also connected because it can make

the measurement more accurate and even compensate the voltage drop

when the DUT offers large current through the load.

DL3000 Test_CC Mode

3. Press the “CC” button on DL3000 and setup the current limitation value

on the left bottom slide of the display.

4. Press “ON/OFF” button on DL3000 to activate CC Mode operation.

Set the current limitation value to 2A

Constant current value will be shown on Display

DL3000 Test_CV Mode

5. Press the “CV” button on DL3000 and setup the Voltage limitation value

on the left bottom slide of the display.

6. Press “ON/OFF” button on DL3000 to activate CV Mode operation.

Set the constant Voltage value to 5V

Constant voltage value will be shown on Display

DL3000 Test_CR Mode

7. Press the “CR” button on DL3000 and setup the constant resistor value

on the left bottom slide of the display.

8. Press “ON/OFF” button on DL3000 to activate CR Mode operation.

Set the constant resistor value to 100ohm

Constant resistor value will be shown on Display

DL3000 Test_CP Mode

9. Press the “CP” button on DL3000 and setup the constant power value

on the left bottom slide of the display.

10. Press “ON/OFF” button on DL3000 to activate CP Mode operation.

Set the constant power value to 0.5W

Constant power value will be shown on Display

DL3000 Test_Continuous Mode

11. Press the “CON” button on DL3000 and enter the setup environment.

12. Set the parameters as below indicated table and then press “Apply” on

the bottom side of the display, then press “TRAN”button on DL3000,

Users can observe the loading average voltage and current value on

display.

13. Press the “Eye” button on DL3000 and users can monitor the current

waveform in advance.

14. Press the “PUL” button on DL3000 and enter the setup environment.

15. Set the parameters as below indicated table and then press “Apply” on

the bottom side of the display, then press “TRAN”button on DL3000.

16. Continuously press the “TRAN”, users can see the Pulse current

waveform on display

17. Press the “LIST” button on DL3000 and enter the setup environment.

18. Set the mode as “CR”, Steps for 10 and Cycles to 1, and then press

“TRAN” button on DL3000, it can be done.

Ultra Load Software Application

19. Connect the A to B USB cable between DL3000 and Laptop.

20. Open the Ultra Sigma Software to check whether DL3000 is connected

or not.

21. Start the Ultra Load Software as below indicated

22. Select “Interface” item on top of software environment and connect the

instrument address in advance.

23. Then the remote mapping diagram will be shown on Ultra Load Software

24. Users can setup all the application mode via this interface.
