Introduction to Cooperatives

�e Kohala Center, in partnership with the Kohala Village HUB, is o�ering an “Introduction to Cooperatives” workshop for farms, agricultural businesses, and residents.

This presentation will offer a thorough overview of cooperative business structures, explore the role co-ops play in local agriculture and food system development, and outline the steps to forming a co-op in Hawai‘i. Time will be given for Q&A, group discussion, and exploration of co-op models that may be relevant for the Kohala community.
