Ceildoor Products is one of only a few genuine

UK based manufacturers of Access Panels.

We have been designing and manufacturing

Access Panels for the building industry for

nearly 30 years. Our facilities are located in

Wolverhampton and our raw materials come

from UK sources, many from within the West

Midlands.

Our standard and bespoke Access Panels are

made to the highest quality and under rigorous

quality control procedures. Made using 1mm

zintec steel and protected by a full matt

polyester powder coating on all sides of the

door and frame (inside & out), our Access Panels

are available in a range of RAL colours to match

the aesthetics of the required location.

Access Panels which have ratings for fire

resistance, airborne sound reduction, air

tightness and thermal conductivity are

independently tested and certified under

UKAS approved organisations such as Exova

Warringtonfire and Salford University Acoustic

Testing Laboratory.

The Unihatch® Access Panel range with unique

patented features brings together versatility,

durability and functionality in the same

package.

You will not find Unihatch® features anywhere

else. The Unihatch® unique patented features

are exclusive to Access Panels manufactured by

Ceildoor – offering versatility at an unbeatable

price.

The Unihatch® has the unique feature in that

the door face can be reversed within the same

frame without the need to remove the frame

from its wall or ceiling placement. For example

when you buy a plaster faced version, you

can reverse the door in situ to turn it into a

metal faced door version quickly and in a few

easy moves. What’s more, you can also change

the hinge orientation/position without the

expensive costs of having to remove the frame

from its finished position in its wall or ceiling

environment.

The door is reversible so you can choose either a

Metal Faced or Plaster Faced Door.

REVERSIBLE DOOR

A fully concealed lock, which is positioned

central to the door, makes it secure and allows

the door to rotate to the desired face finish.

FULLY CONCEALED LOCK SYSTEM

The built in fold down door stop tabs and symmetrical

hinge slots allow the door to be rotated at 90

degree increments so you can also change the hinge

orientation/position without the expensive costs of

having to remove the frame from its finished position

in its wall or ceiling environment.

FOLD-DOWN DOOR STOP TABS

A frame depth of 56mm, which includes the

door operation, is shallower than any other

standard Access Panel on the market.

The hinge system allows you to not only reverse the door and

move the hinge orientation every 90 degrees on a square panel

or 180 degrees on a rectangular Access Panel, but it also allows

Locks

ColoursOur Access Panels are available in a range of

RAL colours to match the aesthetics of the

required location. All Ceildoor metal Access

Panels are fully powder-coated to white RAL

9010 matt polyester paint as standard on all

sides of the door and frame, inside and out.

This is the same coating that is normally

recommended for general exterior situations,

where good weathering resistance is required

against high levels of atmospheric moisture or

in particularly aggressive atmospheres, ensuring

the best coating out there.

Cap essTM

Access Panels missing plastic lock hole caps are

a thing of the past thanks to Cap-less™ – a

revolutionary new innovation from Ceildoor

Products. The square design of the Cap-less™

lock cover matches the hatch shape and

completely covers the lock hole. Cap-less™ will

change the way you look at Access Panel lock

hole covers and is now fitted as standard on all

our Metal Faced Unihatch® range – at no extra

cost to customers!

Ceildoor’s Access Panels can be fitted with a

specified range of locks from our extensive

range. Each lock adds unique features to the

Access Panel.

At Ceildoor Products, we offer a range of Access

Panel Locks depending on the level of security

and protection you require. It is recommended

that all Access Panel Locks that require a key on

a quantity order are keyed alike, so the same

key can open various Access Panels supplied on

the same contract.

Everyday StandardOUR MOST VERSATILE ACCESS PANEL

our 360° Hinge system, the versatility extends to

the door orientation. Even after installation, the

door can be easily removed and re-hinged to

any other sides of the frame (when its a square

door) or its opposite side (when its a rectangular

panel).

Our Non Fire Rated Access Panels are made

from 1mm zintec steel welded door shell and

welded frame and have a frame depth of 56mm

and picture/bead frame width of 23mm. They

are fully polyester powder coated providing a

solid, durable panel that provides additional

resistance to weather, abrasion, rust and

chemical & solvent corrosion. Our Non Fire

Rated Access Panels fit securely in both wall and

ceiling environments. A range of Lock options

are available.

Our Non Fire Rated Access Panel incorporates

unique features that make it our most versatile

Access Panel. With our patented Unihatch®

features, the Non Fire Rated Access Panel can

easily be reversed and the universal frame

and door allows the doors hinge and face

orientation position to be easily changed after

installation!

All our Non Fire Rated Access Panels can be

supplied as either Metal or Plaster faced.

With the Unihatch® feature, you can change

between the door finishes in one single step.

Simply remove the plaster faced door from the

Access Panels are available in a range of door

diameters with either a bead frame or picture

frame surround and include our unique UniTwist

door hanging mechanism, as standard.

Our Circular Access Panel design provides an

alternative to square panels for more bespoke

interiors.

The unique UniTwist™ door hanging mechanism

ensures the door is fitted securely into the

frame when not in use, but still allows it to be

easily and safely removed when needed.

For extra protection against moisture and

corrosion, all Ceildoor Access Panels are fully

powder coated with RAL white 9010 matt

polyester paint as standard, however a range

Our Illusion Access Panel has been designed to

accommodate customers who are looking for special

sized face shapes such as round or Hexagonal to suit

their aesthetic design requirements.

In our industry circular Access Panels have been

available for some time, however, due to expensive

tooling restrictions the industry have historically just

offered sizes such as 300mm, 450mm and 600mm

diameters.

We designed the Illusion Access Panel to resolve

the restrictions on the conventional circular Access

Panels and offer a cost effective solution to this age

old issue. Now you can have the diameter face you

require. Furthermore, the contractor no longer has

to cut out a time consuming circle in the ceiling to

Ceildoor’s Exposed Grid Access Panels securely fit

in both Tegular and Flat Lay-In configurations.

Ceildoor’s Exposed Grid Access Panels are

designed to fit within exposed grid ceilings

typically used in commercial, retail and

education environments. Contractors can easily

install tiles* into the door tray providing a

seamless blend with the finish of the ceiling,

whilst allowing for easy access to the ceiling

cavity behind.

The Exposed Grid Access Panel is made from

1mm zintec steel and is fully polyester powder

coated providing additional resistance to

weather, abrasion, rust and chemical & solvent

Ceildoor’s Slim Access Panel has an overall frame

depth which is no deeper than the diameter of

a 2 pence coin.

Designed to fit in areas where space is

restricted, our Slim Access Panel has a 25mm

deep frame. It is compact and lightweight

and can be fitted in both wall and ceiling

environments.

Our Essential Access Panels fit securely in both

wall and ceiling environments and are fitted

with budget locks only.

Our Essential Access Panels have a panel

depth of 49mm and picture/bead frame width

of 23mm, and are available in a range of 3

standard sizes.

corrosion. They are supplied as metal faced

doors only, with the option of picture or bead

frame surrounds. A range of Lock options are

available.

Designed to accommodate sizes over 1200mm

long, this Access Panel allows the specifier a

limitless option for continuous access in areas

such as ceilings in hotel and hospital corridors

when aesthetics are required and access to

services at not just one specified location. This

product can also be used in wall areas where

high heavier Access Panels are required such as

Metal Faced Access Panels over 1200mm high.

Our Connect Access Panel incorporates unique

hinge features. Utilizing some of our patented

Unihatch® hinge features, this Access Panel has

been designed to suit environments whereby a

standard Access Panel may not suit.

Only available for sizes above 1200mm (unless

otherwise requested by the customer), this

fixed hinge Access Panel allows the customer to

achieve requirements such as a continuous run

of hatch doors along a corridor ceiling or a rigid

door solution within wall requirements.
