COMPANY HISTORYManufacturing is in our blood
1995Founded
Jayco was founded in 1995 by two gentleman with immense tooling and stamping backgrounds. Jim Soles and
Al Lindsey.
1999Sales Program
Current CEO, Kevin Maynard, with his partner, purchased Jayco
Stamping Co., and successfully implemented a strenuous sales program that resulted in sales
growth by over 10 folds
2004Trumpf Laser Acquisition
Acquired the first Trumpf laser and Trumpf 2020 punching machine. Both had an automated load/unload system. As China
continued to impact manufacturing here in the United States, we went with the lights out approach to compete with the labor side
of our costs.
2006Second Trumpf Laser
As demand continued in the sheet metal side of our business, we added another Trumpf laser and Trumpf
2020 punching machine. Both machines had a fully automated load/unload system on them.
2008Defying Odds
As the downturn in 2008 was impacting our competitors we successfully added on several major new customers. Many of your fortune 500 companies were joining our customer base.
Our annual revenue was in excess of $6 million.
2010Expansion
Jayco acquired the assets of a smaller competitor which included a powder
coating facility in Fort Worth, TX. This gave us an entree into another whole segment
of business.
6
2011Expansion
With the additional equipment we acquired in the asset purchase it gave us the ability to
increase our welding and powder coating capabilities, expand product lines and
customer base to include companies such as Best Buy, Petsmart, Ross, Gamestop and several Walmart’s and Sam’s Club stores.
2012Expansion
Jayco continued to expand and grow. In 2012 we opened our South Carolina facility. This expansion was to better service one of
our largest and most strategic customers. We were asked to perform a service that had not ever been done before in our
industry. We were asked to provide print to part in 24 hours. All being 1 off custom sheet metal components.
2013Expansion to South Carolina
We equipped our South Carolina facility in a similar fashion. Three fully automated Trumpf punching
machines and state of the art Trumpf press brakes. This gives us a leg up on all of our competitors.
2014Single Owner
Kevin Maynard purchased the 50% interest from his partner to become a 100% owner of
Jayco. By this time revenue was right at $10m.
2016Purchasing Genesee
Jayco acquired Genesee Stamping and Fabrication to further diversify the operation and customer base, while
strengthening the capabilities and synergies. This merger is a perfect mix of personnel, customer base and cultures. With
Jayco’s immense sheet metal and metal stamping history along with Genesee’s, it is the ultimate combination with
revenue exceeding $18m annually.
COMPANY HISTORYManufacturing is in our blood
2017Expansion
Jayco continue to experience a strong growth in 2017, adding many new customers including, Siemens
Postal, Kone, Fujitsu, and Commscope, while expanding the business lines with the existing
customer base. Jayco added the Powder Batch line processing to increase the production capacity at their Powder Coating facility while adding more equipment and labor to the main production lines in both Grand
Prairie and South Carolina operations.
