Our company was established in February 2001, with the goal to provide better life to our clientsthrough our accurate evaluation of safety and serviceability of various structures and our solutions toimprove them, based on our differentiated technical expertise and accumulated experience in thefield of Wind Engineering and Vibration Control.

As to the field of Wind Engineering, TESolution provides solutions for safer and better life withevaluation on serviceability of buildings and bridges through wind resistance stability tests, windinduced vibration tests, and evaluation on wind environment based on our highest level of expertiseand technically advanced facilities.

As to the field of Vibration Control, TESolution provides solutions to improve the quality of livingenvironment through our vibration control devices that reduce or suppress the vibration occurred fromwind load, seismic load, or traffic load on various structures.

Dr. Yun-seok Kim has worked as the chief of windengineering & vibration control department inHyundai Institute of Construction Technology forover 10 years. As the pioneer of vibration controlsystem in Korea, he installed the first Hybrid MassDamper in Korea on the control tower of IncheonInternational Airport. He has also conducted manywind engineering studies of high-rise buildings andlong span bridges during his tenure. He establishedTESolution Co., Ltd. in 2001, and has led theoperation of over 300 wind tunnel tests and vibrationcontrol system projects. He is also contributing tothe academia of wind engineer as the VicePresident of Wind Engineering Institute of Korea.

Description

Dr. Seung-woo Lee received his M.S. in civilengineering from KAIST (Korea Advanced Instituteof Science & Technology) in 1998. He has studiedvibration isolation of bridge. After obtaining amaster’s degree, he worked as a researcher of windengineering & vibration control department atHyundai Institute of Construction Technology. In2004, he joined TESolution and started a course ofPh.D degree at KAIST. He obtained a Ph.D withstudy of wind engineering and energy harvesting in2013. During his tenure at TESolution, he hasconducted over 150 wind tunnel tests and relevantanalyses for wind resistant design of bridges. Hehas also carried out large numbers of R&D projectsregarding bridge and vibration. He is a specialist inthe fields of bridge aerodynamics and vibrationcontrol.
