Introducing the e-STUDIO5055c Series

There is more to Toshiba color than ever before…

Toshiba is proud to announce the release of the

e-STUDIO5055c/4555c/3555c/3055c/2555c color

multifunction products that are 50/45/35/30/25 PPM

respectively.

This series offers vibrant color and high-speed output

within a sturdy compact design. As a result of its compact

design – it features one of the smallest footprints in its

class –the e-STUDIO5055c is easy to place in the tightest

locations making it ideal for any size business or MPS

placement.

Aside from producing amazing output, the e-STUDIO5055c series incorporates a suite of elite

security features. With the need for data security at an all-time high, Toshiba’s leading,

innovative technology is at the forefront. The propriety Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) uses

patented technology along with a host of other security functions to protect data like never

before. Should the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) be removed from the MFP, all of the data is

automatically erased if an attempt is made to install it into another device. If the HDD is

removed and then returned to the same MFP, the data remains intact and can be accessed as

usual. In addition, HDD data is quickly invalidated at the end of life ensuring that confidential

data remains confidential.

Additional security features within this series include 256-bit AES encryption, IP/Mac address

filtering, Role Based Access Control and SNMPv3 protocol.

The outstanding performance of the e-STUDIO5055 series is due, in large part, to advanced e-

BRIDGE technology including Universal Print Drivers with plug-ins, web browsing and printing,

open platform connectors and mobile printing. By installing the new Universal Print Driver,

users can print on any e-STUDIO series model without installing an additional driver. This

includes the previous e-BRIDGE 3 models. The Universal Print Driver settings can be

imported/exported as a file so settings can be easily applied on multiple PCs. The Universal

Print Driver is also equipped with a tandem print feature. This feature allows users to complete

a large printing job quickly, simply by distributing a printing job to two e-STUDIOs on a

network.

Standard and maximum paper capacities are 1,200 and 3,200

sheets, respectively; the drawers can accommodate up to 140-lb.

index and the 100-sheet bypass up to 100-lb. cover. The ADU

unit is standard and can automatically duplex up to 140lb index.

The e-STUDIO3555c/3050c/2555c has an optional inner finisher

that has an output capacity of 750 sheets and can staple up to

50 sheets in one position. Along with the inner finisher there are

two other optional finishers: both the 2,000-sheet staple finisher

and 3,000-sheet saddle-stitch finisher can staple up to 50 sheets

in up to three positions, while the latter adds the ability to V-fold

up to 15 sheets to produce 60-page booklets. Both varieties can

be outfitted with a two-/three-hole punch unit and are compatible

across the full series.

From connectivity to management to easy replaceable consumables and supplies, these new

e-BRIDGE models were designed to be simple, easy to use and share a consistent user

interface with other Toshiba models. The intuitive 9” tiltable color control panel and e-BRIDGE

user interface make navigating through job tasks a breeze. With a small footprint, lightweight

and low noise output, this new series is also easy to place anywhere.

Service Training Dealers will need to satisfy the e-STUDIO5055c series training requirement. Only WEB based training is required for e-STUDIO2550c certified dealerships. The training is hosted in the Service eXCHANGE. Available in Spanish & English, dealers may begin purchasing immediately and will have 60 days to complete the certification test.
