British Airways is delighted to announce new direct flights between London Heathrow and Durban, South Africa.

From October 29 holidaymakers will be able to surf their heart out along the Golden Mile, explore the lush green garden province and enjoy golden sun kissed beaches with three direct flights a week from London Heathrow to the spectacular South African city.

DurbanTravellers hoping to escape the Northern Hemisphere’s shorter days and long, cold nights this winter have a new destination: the South African city of Durban with the start of British Airways’ new direct service.

Durban is a year-round destination, with sultry summers and mild, dry winters. It has long been a favourite holiday playground for South Africans but will soon be easier than ever for international visitors to enjoy too. The British Airways Boeing 787-8 DreamlinerOur Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner designed to enhance customer wellbeing, the new

fuel-efficient aircraft boasts smooth ride technology, which minimises the effects

of turbulence and creates a more comfortable trip. Lower pressurisation results in

cabin air that is less dry, reducing the effects of jet lag for customers. All customers

traveling on the 787-8 Dreamliner can use their individual widescreen TV to choose

from a wide array of audio and video on-demand options. They can also speak

to friends and family who are sitting throughout the aircraft using an in-seat chat

system, as well as connect their own devices to the entertainment system.
