The function of Tef-Gel® in eliminating dissimilar metal corrosion is the elimination of electrolytes from entering the interface of the metallic surfaces. Tef-Gel® paste contains 40% PTFE powder and 0% volatile solvents, no silicones or petroleum solvents to evaporate, which would leave voids for electrolytes to be drawn into creating a galvanic cell. When both surfaces are coated and mated with Tef-Gel® there are no voids for electrolytes (saltwater) to be drawn in by capillary action over extended periods of time.

You work hard for your game and we all know there are the less than scrupulous few who would take that away if given the chance, so we have lid lock ports on either side of the lid that will each support padlocks to keep the bad guys out and the goods the bad guys out and the goods out of reach.

Rotomold coolers are highly sought after for their value and performance and there are some that would like to have them but don’t want to pay the price so locking your cooler down is never a bad idea. Ports on either side of the body near the side of the body near the handles accept cable locks or tie downs to keep your cooler put.

Our drain plugs are fitted with commerical-grade gasket material similar to that used in the lid to ensure the cold stays in and the water stays put until you’re ready. A simple turn of the wrist begins the draining prprocess from start to finish with bottoms designed to channel water toward the plugs.

Four oversized heavy duty rubber feet are designed to keep your Icon hard cooler in place. Whether its riding along in the back of the truck or on the bow while you’re doing high speed maneuvers, you can rest assuassured there’s an awful lot of traction holding it down.
