the entire program within 120 days of CMP course enrollment AND pass all current CMP modules. • After 120 days, cost to receive CMP Master Trainer status and certificate is $500. • Recertification is required every two years. You must be employed by an IDEAlliance member

company and maintain G7 Expert status.

About the CMP® Certification ProgramThe Color Management Professional (CMP®) certification program is comprised of a series of on-line video instructional color management courses and exams, led by some of our industry’s leading color management experts. The Color Management Professional (CMP) Certification Program is designed for creative, photogra-phy, prepress, premedia and print professionals interested in gaining valuable knowledge of the principles of color management in a graphic communication production environment, and wish to be recognized for their color management expertise.

The CMP certification program begins with the in-depth course on “Color Management Fundamentals” where students may achieve certification as a “Color Management Professional.” This is followed by additional in-structional courses to seek “Expert” certification in specialty areas within a graphic communication production environment. Each course concludes with a certification exam. Successful completion of all CMP exams results in achieving the status of CMP Master.
