INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Flushing Line SetsUseFlushTankandaccessorytoolsinRx11-flushKit(4300-38)forthefollowingprocedures.1. Establishoneendofthelinesetastheexitpointandcrimporrestrictitinordertoincrease

massflowandcontacttime.2. Placeare-sealablerecoverycontainerattheexitpointtocapturetheusedflush/oilmixture.3. AttachFlushHosewithFlushGuntotheoutletsideoftheFlushTankvalve(oppositethe

ballvalve).4. UnscrewtopandpourRx11-flushLiquidintotheFlushTank(Tankwillholdupto24ouncesof

Rx11-flushLiquid).Reassemblecomponents,thenattachthehosefromapressureregulatednitrogentanktotheinletside(ballvalveside)oftheFlushTank.

5. Setthepressureregulatortodeliver50psiofnitrogen.Then,slowlyopenthe inletballvalvetopressurizeFlushTank.DONOTEXCEED200PSI.Afterpressurizingtheinjectortank,closebothvalvesandremovethenitrogenfillhose.NeverflushwithnitrogenattachedtoFlushTank.

6. InsertFlushGuninentryportoflineandinjectflush.OnecanofRx11-flushLiquidwilltypicallyclean3linesets.Resultswillvaryaccordingtocontaminationlevelandtubingdiameter.

7. AfterinjectingtheRx11-flushLiquid,proceedtopurgethelineswith120psinitrogen,capturingthesolvent/oil residue in therecoverycontainer.Clear flushsolvent indicates the linesareclean.Iftheexitingsolventisnotyetclear,repeatflushprocedure.

8. Pullvacuumtoremoveanyresidualsolvent.Linesetisnowcleanandreadytoservice.

Flushing After Burnouts

1. Ifpossible,flushsysteminsections.

2. Disconnectcompressorandelectricity.ItisrecommendedthatTXV’sandcapillarytubesalsobedisconnectedorby-passed,butisnotrequired.

3. Removefilterdriers.

4. Followflushinginstructionsabove.

5. After flushing, evacuate system, leak check, and add oil and refrigerant if satisfactory. Ifappropriate,chargesystemwithRx-AcidScavenger®(4301-02)asinsurancetoprotectagainstacidcontamination.
