Film a sequence (approx 1 min) which exemplifies one of the three theories. It doesn’t have to show the whole theoretical approach. For example, if you choose Todorov, you can just show a narrative disruption or equilibrium.

Challenge: think about all the different ways to edit. Such as, cross cutting, cut aways, match on action, etc. and decide which technique might be the best one to use

In your exam, you will have to micro-analyse your coursework productions in relation to a theory.

You will need to start to think about how the micro elements relate to narrative

So, you are effectively working towards a micro analysis by doing a practical task.

For example, you might decide to use a cut-away in order to hint at a disruption
