    • Client 'owns' the audio for an agreed, limited time.

    • Composer is not allowed to distribute the audioduring that time.

    • Price range slightly higher than 'royalty-free', less

    than 'buyout'.

    BUYOUT

    • Client buys exclusive ownership of the audio to be

    used at any time, with no expiry date.

    • Composer does not have the right to distribute theaudio after a buyout deal has been made.

    • Price range is the highest between 'royalty-free'
