Project Worker for Gateway Mental Health Association (CE Scheme)

Description

The position will be in the above area. This is a developmental opportunity, self experience of

mental health and recovery and/or an interest in same necessary. Accredited training will be

provided to support your career. Duties include: working alongside people with experience of

mental health issues for positive mental health, recovery and inclusion in the community; supporting

development of a member led community mental health resource and drop in centre; facilitating

and encouraging peer support, peer modelling, active membership and leadership within Gateway;

working with members and co-workers to develop, plan and organise the Gateway centre and its

activities; promotion of Gateway through outreach work and other activities. Applicants must supply

suitable character references and be prepared to complete Garda Vetting.

Start Date: 27th July 2015 pending Garda Vetting
