2009 United Way Campaign a Success The final results are in! Associated Bank’s all-colleague giving campaign in support of United Way was a huge success this year. After everything was said and done, the campaign raised $847,751. This total exceeded our goal of $825,000 by 2.7%. The grand total can be broken down as follows: Total dollars raised through colleague contributions: $497,803 Total dollars raised through fundraisers: $ 55,894 Total dollars raised through online auction: $ 14,054 Total corporate contributions: $280,000 TOTAL $847,751 This year, the service centers (Green Bay, Stevens Point, and LaCrosse) led the way by raising over $120,000 in colleague donations and pledges. Throughout the footprint, numerous fundraising activities helped to raise over $55,000 for the campaign. In the Fox Valley region, jeans days and customer pin-ups alone raised $1,000. The annual car wash at Green Bay, Hansen Road raised more than $200 as well. Some other unique activities included cookouts, themed luncheons, a weight loss challenge, prize wheels, bake sales, basket drawings, and much more. Such a successful campaign would not have been possible without the organization and dedication of the 2009 United Way Campaign Committee. Through the hard work of this committee, colleagues remained engaged and excited about the campaign. Thank you for all your hard work! In addition, thank you to all colleagues who showed their support for this year’s campaign. Not only was our monetary goal reached, but participation in Days of Caring activities was up to over 60% this year. Because of the efforts of the Associated Bank campaign, United Way will be able to continue to foster improvements and hope through the many organizations and programs it supports. Thank you for supporting our Associated communities through United Way.
