All full-time students are eligible to participate. Part-time students must purchase an ARC membership for the entire semester before being eligible. Due to space constraints and demands, faculty/staff/community members are not permitted to play in the fall or winter Intramural leagues, but can play in the summer leagues.

PERFORMANCE BONDS AND PLAYER/TEAM FEESEach team registering into an Intramural league or tournament is required to pay a performance bond. This bond is held as a deposit for a team’s attendance and conduct during league/playoff games. Bonds are fully refundable provided a team has no defaults.

For some Intramural leagues and tournaments a fee is charged. These team/player fees are due at the time of registration (or as outlined on the registration page).

Bond refunds are available for pick-up at the ARC Customer Service desk beginning August 15 (summer), December 1 (fall), and April 1 (winter). All bond refunds must be picked up by April 20 or they are considered forfeit.

TEAM REGISTRATIONSpace is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Within each league there are a number of divisions that identify the skill level (Tier 1, 2, etc) and day/time of regular season games. Many divisions fill up quickly, some within hours of registration opening online. No spaces are reserved for in-person registration.

Fall 2017 Leagues Winter 2018 Leagues Summer 201 Leagues

Registration: Thurs., Sept. 14, 2017 Mon., Nov. 13, 2017 Tues., May. 1, 2018

Registration details and a list of offerings is available online at www.gogaelsgo.com/intramuralregistration

Once the team is registered and the bond/fees are paid, team captains can invite team members to join electronically. We encourage team captains to complete this quickly, as free agents may be assigned to teams showing low enrollment numbers.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONDon’t have a full team to play with? No problem - join one of our Free Agent Teams. We offer a variety of Free Agent Teams made up entirely of individuals. Spaces are limited so review the registration dates online. In the event a Free Agent team is full or a team is not offered in the sport/division you wish to play in, individuals can create a free agent profile in the sport they are interested in joining. Team captains have access to these lists and can invite you to join their team.Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a free-agent will get placeed onto a team.

RESIDENCE LEAGUESQueen’s offers “Res Leagues” aimed specifically at getting first-year students involved in the Intramural program. These highly-recreational leagues are offered to provide residence buildings/floors the opportunity for a weekly group activity. Basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and innertube waterpolo leagues are offered specifically for residence teams, however many residences choose to also enter a team into our regular Intramural leagues in many other sports. The only rule – you have to live in residence.
