Thanks to everyone who took the time to email, call, drop into our offices or Facebook us with feedback about our launch issue of intouch magazine!
We were blown away by the response. From the person who picked it up in Hunter Mall, and the thousands who received it in their letterbox to those who had it emailed to them - it seems that we really did manage to pack
something for everyone into the first issue. And to those who stopped by our offices to pick up extra copies for friends - nice to meet you!
We think we've achieved our goal of giving Newcastle & Lake Macquarie a high quality, relevant, free lifestyle magazine to be proud of and we look
forward to bringing intouch magazine to you for many years to come.
We have some great interviews and features this month starting with our cover story: Neil Slater. With his charismatic personality and his intense love of sharing Newcastle with the world, Neil has been the face behind some of
Newcastle's most iconic landmarks, including the new Memorial Walk.
July sees us in full-on school holiday mode! Never fear – intouch is here with a plethora of activities and shows that are guaranteed to have the littlies exhausted
by days end and some sanity for parents as well!
This month we welcome our new travel section with a splash – a massive splash to be exact! Currently under construction in Germany, the all new
“Ovation of the Seas” wears the tag “mega liner” with pride. It will set sail for Australia late November.
We also find out why Judith Lucy had such a dreadful year and why that will probably lead to an exceptionally great show at the Civic Theatre later in the month! From Beccy Cole to Lah-Lah Live, Musica Viva to Steady Eddy – July is
set to be a great month of live entertainment, and you can read it all between the covers of our July issue.
