Message from your Secretary

Dearly beloved in Christ at Kuwait St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Parish, by the Grace of God and of the gracious Kalpana from our Great Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan

Thirumeni, myself came to you as the Vicar of your Parish. Our Diocesan Bishop Mar Stephanos Thirumani also grant space for me in his Diocese. Really my self is grateful to both Thirumanies and to God Almighty. Many thanks to each one those who prayed and uphold me in my ministry.

Yaa. It is my first letter to you all of my Parishioners. Here with I do Praise God for all my beloved children, youth and elders in our Parish. We can work together for the glory of God these days.

The month of May is the month of labor’s. We want to honor all the job what we are doing. All together we are labors, even if we are in high or low in our

I would like to thank all the members of the Parish for giving me another

opportunity to serve God as the Secretary of the Church. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the elected members of St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church.

A good listenerAs human beings we thirst for a good listener; someone whom we can reveal our true self; a thirst only God can satisfy. There is no denial in the fact that there is no better listener than Jesus. Of course, Jesus is God, but in his humanity he models focused listening-so much so that the Samaritan woman in John 4 exclaims,” He told me everything I have done”. Jesus fulfils her deepest desire-to open her heart and not hold back anything. For sure she thirsts for ordinary water but much more for living

positions. Sometimes we forget it. We are called to be the workers in his vine yard.

The expectation from labor is loyalty and honesty to his/her master. Our master is Lord Jesus. He appointed all of us to work for the Glory of his kingdom.

Kindly give your support and prayer for the fruitful ministry among you. Praise the Lord for the ministry of our Rev. Santhosh Philip and we offer our prayers to his further ministry. Thank you Achen and family for your wonderful ministry in this parish.

May God bless you. God with you all in your job and your family for ever and ever.

water-acceptance by one who knows everything she has done. You and I should bring that thirst to our prayer. In Jesus the bridegroom, Brant Pitre says, “like Samaritan women, we’ve got to come clean about our past like being truthful about who we are by owning to our sins.

Why can God alone satisfy our thirst? Here’s the reason: the thirst we bring to prayer is nothing compared with the thirst God has for us. Mother Theresa told her sisters to place next to the chapel crucifix these two words: I THIRST.

As human beings we thirst for a good listener-someone to whom we can reveal our true self. In the end only God can satisfy that thirst-because he thirst for your salvation and mine. I conclude by saying these words, “Prayer is the encounter of God’s thirst with ours. God thirst that we may thirsts for him.”May God bless you all!
