If you want to have India Localization Taxes to be captured in your business transactions.then you need to run : India Local concurrent request ofr processing order lines to AR. How data is dumped from OM tables to OM interface tables we have to run some open interface or it is automatically dumped. 2. What is the difference between Supplier and Vendor? 1. wfbp(work flow background process) this will dump data  from omtables to om_interface

2. autoinvoice master program: this will dump data from om_interface to ar_interface

3. autoinvoice import program : this will dump data from ar_interface to ar tables

so data will be automatically dumped  from om tables to ar tables and invoice will be raised automatically. i dont have table names exactly but i will let you know them later.

If you want to have India Localization Taxes to be captured in your business transactions.then you need to run : India Local concurrent request ofr processing order lines to AR.

How data is dumped from OM tables to OM interface tables we have to run some open interface or it is automatically dumped.

5. How to attach reports in Oracle Applications ?

Page 2: Interview Qns

The steps are as follows :

1. Design your report. 2. Generate the executable file of the report. 3. Move the executable as well as source file to the appropriate product’s folder. 4. Register the report as concurrent executable. 5. Define the concurrent program for the executable registered. 6. Add the concurrent program to the request group of the responsibility.

Design your report

put your file into product_top>version>language>file.name

 define executable

 define concurrent

 add to the request group

 run the report respective responsibility.

STEP- ONE: Register the application.

STEP-TWO:   Put Report in appropriate server directory.

        STEP-THREE:         Define Executables. (NavigatorConcurrentProgram Executables)

7. How can u see the global parameter values in the form without coding?

One way of viewing parameter values at run-time in Apps is by Navigating to Tool-->Examine menu. Enter the block name as parameter and then give the parameter name in the item field and then press tab.examine

Navigate to Help >> Diagnostics >> Properties >> Item  Then you mention Object as Global variable, Object 4 as Global variable name you can get its value

8. what is the difference between spfile and pfile?

spfile is a binary file ans pfile is a text file.

We can change parameter in spfile dynamically but we cant change pfile dynamically ...to change parameter in pfile we need to bounce the instance.

9. What is the difference in Quick pick & quick code? Quick codes form is used to predefine a list of values for a particular field.

Ans might be C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

source we can keep in custom folders but we need to link the file to AU/....fnd  folder like

ln -s /XXXXX/app/applmgr/product/10.7.0/fnd/6.1.1/bin/fndcpesr

16. What is lockbox

when you want to load receipts from legacy system to oracle apps, you use Lockbox concept.

lockbox is a services provided by bank to corporate customers to transfers there payables in receviables, so that they can update their balances.

here all the cheque or payments are collect by bank and send a dat file to there corporate so that they can directly transfer that file through interface in their modules (ap,ar)

To simplify concept, just imagine a comany has a post box where all outside parties say customers can drop cheques. Bank collects all the cheques on company's behalf from so called box (called as lockbox) and performs receipts and sends records on periodic basic in a file to original company.Original company then can autoprocess the records in file in AP and AR.

20.What are forms customization steps ?

The steps are as follows :· Copy the template.fmb and Appstand.fmb from AU_TOP/forms/us.Put it in custom directory. The libraries (FNDSQF, APPCORE, APPDAYPK, GLOBE, CUSTOM, JE, JA, JL, VERT) are automatically attached .· Create or open new Forms. Then customize.· Save this Form in Corresponding Modules.

For form customization we need to download the template.fmb in binary format from AU_TOP directory.

Then rename template.fmb to the your form name and start customizing it.

Upload the form into AU_TOP/forms/US

Compile the form.

Copy the form into respective custom top as INV_TOP, PO_TOP etc.

For registering in apps -

Register form --> Register function --> Register Menu -->

To upload a form in a particular directory you have to use Unix box for the same. Put the form in home directory thru FTP, then to copy form from home directory to the custom directory like CS_TOP you have to use the following command:cp .fmb $/forms/USThis will copy the form in the directory, then you can compile the form using f60gen command. the syntax is as follows: f60gen .fmb apps/appsthis will compile the form.

23.Difference between Key and Descriptive Flexfield?Key Flexfield Descriptive Flefield1. Unique Identifier 1.To capture extra information2. Key Flexfield are stored in segment 2.Stored in attributes3.For key flexfield there are flexfield Qualifier and segment Qualifier 3. Context-sensitive flexfield is a feature of DFF. (descriptive flexfield)

Key flex filed is used to store key information whereas descriptive flexfiled is used to store additional informations.ex: if you go to Application Developer , then flexfiled---key flexfiled ---segments---segment separatorSegment separator is a key flexfiled whereas a small box besides segment separator is descriptive flexfiled.

key flex fields are used to identify particular entity like(accounts, objects) supoose take debit cards each debit card contain unique number to identify them. eg; 100-023-323 key flex fields are used to store this number along with description.

dff's are used to capture additional informtion required for our organization without any programming.
