What foreign languages are required when I apply for this job?

For this kind of job you don't have to know any foreign languages but it is very good to know English because we have some instructions manuals in English but most of them are translated into Romanian. English is also required when you deal with the diagnosis tests.

If I am sick and I do not go to work, do I get paid?

Of course they have up to 3 months on sick leave. a holiday of 21 days per year but as the employer gets older the holiday may increase.

Do I need a driving licence?It is not compulsory but it is good to have it but it is not

necessary because the cars are brought in by the technical advisers.

What are the skills required by the job?

A mechanic should have a strong team spirit because he is going to work in a team and he has to get on well with everybody. He also should have a strong desire to learn new things, to enlarge his knowledge because the cars develop a lot these days, they change from one year to another. He also has to be very skilfull, neat and respectfull.

What is the minimum wage?

The minimum wage is 700 RON after deducting all the taxes.

How many days off do I have every year?

Everybody has 20 working days per year.

Do I have to work alone or in a team?

Of course this is an individual job but this job is also based on colaboration and they must help each other. Sometimes we have heavy pieces so you need somebody's help so this is why they work in a team.

Do you offer accomodation and transportation if the job is far from home?

Whenever we have courses for our employers at Bucharest or Pitesti, but this is very rare, everything is paid by the company.

What are the promotion chances for an employer?

First of all he has to gain experience in order to be able to do all kind of repair works and then if he wants to be promoted he needs to have a university degree and he can become a team coordinator or an advisor.
