9. Would you lie for the company?

o I would never do anything wrong which will hurt to the company.

10. Looking back, what would you do differently in your life?

o It’s been good life, rich in learning & experience and the best is yet to come.

o Every experience in life is lesson in its own way.

11. Can you work under pressure?

o Absolutely………(give example)

12. What makes you angry?

o I’m even tempered and positive person by nature and I believe this helps me a

great deal to keep my department running smoothly.

o I believe in communicating clearly what’s expected.

o If someone or something is going out off track, I want to know about it early.

After kind open communication and follow up if someone is not getting the

job done, I’ll want to know why? If there is no relevant reason, then I’ll get

impatient and angry…..and will take appropriate steps.

13. What would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, you think it stinks?

o I believe that while evaluating anything its important to emphasis the positive

things.

o I certainly want to point them out as specifically, objectively and factually as I

can.

o After all, the most important thing I owe to my boss is honesty. If he can not

count me for that, then everything that I may do or say could be questionable

in his eyes.

o But I also want to express my thoughts in constructive way. So my goal in this

case would be to see if my goal in this case would be to see if my boss and I

could make his idea even strong and more appealing, so that it effectively

overcomes any initial resistance I or others may have about it.

o Of course, if he overrules me and says, no let’s do it in my way; then I owe

him my full and enthusiastic support to make it work as best it can.

14. What would you do if a fellow executive on your own corporate level wasn’t

pulling his / her weight and this was hurting your department?

o Good human relations would call for me to go directly to the person and

explain the situation, to try to enlist his help in a constructive, positive

solution. If I sensed resistance, I would be as persuasive as I know how to

explain the benefits we can all gain from working together, and the problems

we, the company and our customers will experience if we don’t.

15. And what would you do if he still did not change his ways?

o One thing I wouldn’t do is let the problem slide, because it would only get

worse and overlooking it would set a bad precedent. I will try again and again

in whatever way I can. I may involve wider and wider circles of people both

seniors & subordinates, so that everyone involved can see the rewards for

teamwork and drawback of non-cooperation.

16. If one of your team member do not work properly, and you have very little time to

complete your project, then what steps will you take?

o I believe in direct communication.

o I’ll find the problems associated with that person,(like, he has no time, some

personal issues,)

17. Do you prefer to work as a group leader?

o Yes, I have good fit with corporate culture.

o I worked with student organizations; we arranged many functions during my

degree course.

o It is a great opportunity to me to work as a team leader.

o I have supportive attitude.

o Money is important to me, but is not my main concern.

o Opportunities and growth are far more important.

20. How do you define success?

o The best definition I have come across is “success is the progressive

realization of worthy goal”.

21. How do you feel to report a younger person?

o In any organization everybody is positioned by referring individual’s skills,

abilities, & essential qualification and not by age.

o And I salute to everyone’s skills & abilities, so I don’t feel bad.

22. How has your experience prepared you for your career?

o Aside from the discipline and engineering foundation learning that I have

gained from my courses, I think project, presentations & CAD/CAM courses

have prepared me most for my career.

o By working with student organization I have gained confidence, problem

solving skills.

o Also I have built time management and efficiency skills.

o Additionally I have developed leadership, communication and teamwork

abilities.

23. Do you have good communication skills?

o Yes, I have good communications skills because, I do believe in listening.

o I always speak in brief and with clarity.

o I believe in mutual understanding.

o I have supportive attitude.

o No, every interview is lesson for me. Success may not come at first time, if it

comes then it is best.

o I’ll feel little dejected because, I’m loosing great opportunity.

o It will be nice if you tell my problematic errors.

o Scope to hone my skills.
