Ascending Interval Ear Training Homework for Show Choirs Open up a web browser and type in www.musictheory.net in the URL.

It will take you to this webpage

Click on the “Exercises” Button

Scroll down to “Ear Training” and click on “Interval Ear Training”

You will see three buttons on the top right hand corner of the page

Click on the middle button to make the appropriate changes to the exercise. The “Play Mode” should default to “Ascending” if not change that. Then change the intervals.

Click on Intervals and select only, “Unison, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Major 7th and Octave”

To reset the time click reset score. Your page should look like this:

To  listen  to  the  interval  again  

To  select  the  interval  heard  

Score  and  percentage  correct  

After your top score number has reached 20

Continue to the top three buttons and click on the “i” in a circle

Select the “Show Progress Report Button”

Put in your name where it says “Student Name” and click “Sign Report”

Copy the “Verification Code” that is created and email it to the teacher

CHALLENGE MODE For challenge mode: set the intervals to match the descending and ascending homework instructions

and then click challenge mode. Set the questions limit to 20 and begin.
