    Project that Im working on: -

    Customer Perception Analysis & Marketing Research for CARHY

    Roles & Responsibilities as an Intern: -

    Maintain and develop good relationship with customers through personal

    contact, meetings, telephone etc.

    Must act as a bridge between the company and its current market and future

    markets.

    Display efficiency in gathering market and customer information to enable

    negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer

    specifications to their managers.

    Help management in forthcoming products and discuss on special

    promotions.

    Review their own performance and aim at exceeding their targets-Sales

    Strategy.

    Record sales and order information and report the same to the sales

    department.

    Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to their respective

    employers.

    Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating

    their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.

    Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with

    prospects; recommending solutions.

    Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and

    guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities;

    recommending profit and service improvements.

  • Things observed while working for Columbia Asia: -

    The marketing strategies adapted by Columbia Asia are very aggressive

    unlike other Hospitals.

    The value proposition offered by Columbia Asia has been a great fit for

    their target market/segment.

    They have outsourced every aspects of promotion.

    In order to generate leads promotional activities like health camps,

    awareness of good health etc. are being conducted.

    Two or more things that I have learnt in the class and have observed the same in

    Columbia Asia: -

    The Marketing Game played in the class gave a little bit of practical

    experience of how marketing strategies are implemented in a company, this

    made us understand the marketing mix strategies of Columbia Asia.

    As discussed in the Marketing class; Marketing is one of the most

    important functions which a company should invest on as this is the main

    driving force of a company & its shareholders.

    The methods of sales forecasting.

    In Business Communication class we were taught how to write mails to the

    clients, the same way it is followed in Columbia Asia.
