Definition of a“ONLINE PREDATOR”
•Online Predator = An adult who uses the Internet to commit crimes against children. •NCMEC – 1-7 children between the age of 10-17 will be approached by an Online Predator.

•Anyone you meet over the Internet is a stranger.•Never post personal information such as your name, age, location.•If you receive a message that makes you uncomfortable, go and tell a trusted adult.

Mission Profile Directions: Read each profile and discuss in your squad which person you would like to accept to be your friend and/or on your buddy list. When you report out to the class state why you chose the person or persons.
1. I like to play sports, go to the movies and hang out with my friends. I like playing on the computer and video games.
2. I like to pretend to be someone I am not and then use the information I learn about
people and turn friends against one another.
3. I like music and high fashion. I am the most popular student at my school and I
have the most friends listed on my Social Networking page.
