POP-UP BLOCKERS

Pop-up blockers prevent web courses from working.

To ensure you can launch web courses, allow pop-ups from ABB University’s website server www100.abb.com.

INTERNET EXPLORER POP-UP BLOCKER

When the pop-up window asks you to allow the pop-up window, click "Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site" as in the picture below.

If the presentation still does not launch:

1. Click the menu Tools > Internet Options

2. Click the Privacy tab

3. Uncheck the "Block pop-ups" setting at the bottom

4. Launch the presentation again. If this works, please remember to turn the block setting back on later, so pop-ups will not disturb your normal Internet browsing.

If the presentation still does not launch, set all Privacy, Security, and Advanced settings to default:

1. In the Privacy tab: Set privacy level to Medium and uncheck Block Pop-ups

2. In the Security tab: Click the Default Level button

3. In the Advanced tab: Click the Restore Defaults button

4. Launch the presentation again

GOOGLE TOOLBAR POP-UP BLOCKER

If you have Google Toolbar installed, it may also be blocking pop-up windows.

To allow pop-ups on a certain site, visit the site and click the Pop-up Blocker button:
