INTERNATIONALIZATION OF MILITARY ACADEMIES USING
EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES INITIATIVE
European universities - transnational alliances, promoting European values and
identity, and revolutionising the quality and competitiveness of European higher
education.
Key principles of European Universities:
- bottom-up alliances of higher education institutions
- open to all types of Higher Education Institutions
- geographically balanced
- socially inclusive

- Minimum 3 HEIs from 3

A shared, integrated, long-term joint strategy for
education with, where possible, links to research and
innovation and society at large
A European higher education inter-university ‘campus‘
where typically students and staff can move physically or
virtually to study, train, teach, do research, work, or share
services in any of the partner institutions.European
UniversitiesNew joint and flexible curricula are delivered in the three
cycles, based on cross-disciplinary/multi-disciplinary and
cross-sectoral.
Practical and/or work-based experience is provided by
external mentors to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and
develop civic engagement;
The student body reflects the diversity of the population.

OBJECTIVES
Applicant/coordinator
The coordinator has the full responsibility to ensure that the proposal is implemented
in accordance with the agreement:
- represents and acts on behalf of the alliance towards the European Commission;
- bears the financial and legal responsibility for the proper operational,
administrative and financial implementation of the European University alliance;
- coordinates the European University alliance in cooperation with the partners.
Full partners
Contribute actively to the achievement of the European Universities objectives.
Each full partner must sign a mandate to confer to the coordinating organisation the
responsibility of acting as main beneficiary and act in his name during the
implementation of the proposal;
Associated partners
Contribute to the implementation of specific tasks/activities or support the
dissemination and sustainability of the alliance. They are not considered as part of the
partners of the European University, and they do not receive funding.
