Spend an unforgettable time in this romantic city, located in southwestern Germany, with a tradition of more than 600 years of higher education. Benefit from a multitude of academic and scientific institutions and a broad variety of cultural venues.
Heidelberg University of Education is a modern university with a focus on teaching, research and further training in the field of education. Furthermore, the university assumes social responsibility by providing its expertise to society and organizations.
Promoting internationalization throughout the entire university is one of our core objectives. The new, structured course program in English is coordinated by the Center for International Teacher Education (CITE). It is primarily geared to benefit students in teacher education programs (primary school, secondary school up to 9th/10th form (ISCED level 2) and special needs education).
In our courses, you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of different perspectives on (inclusive) classroom teaching on the basis of general pedagogical concepts and teaching methodology. Literary and cultural activities foster the development of intercultural communicative competences and on top of that, you can dive into improving your interdisciplinary competences. This flyer provides you with an overview of our courses and information on enrollment.
You want to study with us? Please feel free to contact us! We will be glad to help you and welcome you at Heidelberg University of Education.
