    Provides students and alumni with the resources needed to build successful public service careers.

    Professional Experience Requirement (PER) Not usually waived for international students --

    curricular practical training (CPT); must be started prior to Capstone and relevant to specialization

  • Work Authorization

    Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Due to PER, CPT allows F-1/J-1 to accept relevant, off-

    campus employment. May only opt into using CPT once

    Optional Practical Training (OPT) To accept additional relevant employment Pre-completion vs. Post-completion
