On behalf of the International Economics Department of the Economic Research Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for World Economy at the Romanian Academy we are pleased to invite you to the International Scientific Conference “Bulgaria and Romania: Country Members of the EU, Part of the Global Economy” which will be held on June 15-16 2017 at the Economic Research Institute at BAS in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The conference aims at bringing together researchers, young scholars, post-doctoral researchers and PhD students that are working on the areas of International Economics and International Finance.

Technical requirements All papers should be formatted according the provided Paper template. Posters should be presented in the provided Poster template.
Working language All papers, posters and presentations should be in English.
Conference venue Economic Research Institute at BAS Address: 3 Aksakov Str., 1040 Sofia, Bulgaria
Presentation options Papers could be presented orally in person or virtually as a poster.
Publication options All accepted by the scientific committee papers that are timely sent and are formatted according to the Paper template will be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISBN, which will be indexed in RePEc and Google Scholar. Selected papers will be published in the Economic Studies Journal of the Economic Research Institute at BAS, which is indexed in RePEc, EBSCO, SCOPUS and has a SCImago Journal Rank (SJR).
Conference fees Conference fee includes coffee breaks, lunch, conference materials and paper publication.
Personal oral presentation: For PhD students: 25 EUR (VAT incl.) For all other participants: 50 EUR (VAT incl.)
Virtual (poster) presentation For PhD students: 20 EUR (VAT incl.) For all other participants: 40 EUR (VAT incl.)
