Methodology (1)

Yearly inspections by training and qualified specialists

Performed by HSMT personnel or local agents These agents will be licensed after passing through training

and qualification process by HSMT Licensing per country with agent inspection on random basis

to prevent conflict of interests Open and pre-arranged site surveys Surprise and under-cover visits

Methodology (2)

Following site survey, results entered into web-based software application to be developed

Rating is immediately calculated and printed for hotel management, including official certificate

Assessor can make recommendations to hotel management as to how to upgrade rating

Web-based database-driven software

Practical, easy-to-use, user interface to speed up data entry

Compulsory registration for access, including log of all accesses made

Integrated mailing system to all registered users with opt-out option as legal requirement

Automatic printing of results and temporary certificate when survey results are complete
