INTERNATIONAL PROCESS SAFETY CONFERENCE11-12 February 2020, Sovereign - I, Hotel Le Méridien, New Delhi, India

Theme: Next Generation Safety – Excellence through Culture & Transformation

Organised By: In Association With:

ENC SI

The Energy & ClimateInitiatives SocietyRegistered Under The Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860

As we head into the year 2020 facing more stringent

regulatory frameworks, heightened focus on sustainability &

rapidly changing technologies, headwind risks like global

trade wars, increasingly competitive environments & new

process complexities stand to further accentuate the

operational risks for process industries globally.

Though Process Safety has taken center stage over the last 35

years eventually becoming the starting point of process

industry's operational excellence strategy, the industry's

continued tryst with catastrophic events prove that it takes

much more than regulations, compliances & systems to

manage & mitigate the risk of future industrial disasters.

The next generation process safety management requires

transformational approaches to building safety leadership

cultures both within the organisations & the larger community

outside. It would also require harnessing the power of

digitalization to implement innovations, safety management

systems & global standards of practice. Culture, Smart

technologies & involvement of community thus need to be the

strategic board level priorities for process industries as we

head into the next decade.

Augmenting process safety management through

digitalization and innovation for the process industry globally,

also calls for early adopters of these technologies & industry

bellwethers to extensively share their knowledge,

experiences & best practices. Thus setting new standards of

commitment, culture & safety excellence for both

organisations & communities.

The International Process Safety Conference was instituted to

foster exchange of these next generation priorities, ideas,

expertise & technologies for the national, regional & global

process industry.

The conference brings together Global Heads of Safety,

Operations, Asset Reliability, Sustainability, Technology and

Operational Excellence from world leading organizations

under one roof making it the hub for knowledge, innovation

and opportunities.

The conference engages the collective experience & expertise

of regulators, industry, academia and technology

organizations to discuss, deliberate & share best practices,

building consensus on the actions needed for industry wide

implementation of globally accredited safety practices &

systems.

Spread over 2 days the annual conference thus provides an

interactive & meaningful opportunity for the local, regional

and global representatives of the industry to address their

growing requirements of improvements in risk assessment,
