2. First Hotel Strand
Notes:1. All athletes, coaches, referees and officials from each federation have to book their
rooms presented by the organizer and have to stay at the official hotels during the entire time in attendance at the championships. If not, they will have to pay an administration fee of 100 EUR or they will not be allowed to participate at the championships.
2. The organizer will not be responsible for any hotel bills of the participating nations.

Transportation information:
If you arrive via airplane to Sundsvall, you will land at Sundsvall – Timrå Airport. Transportation from the airport to any of the hotels cost 20 EUR per person and way.
The transportation must be paid on arrival at the championships office. Any national team will not be accredited until the reserved transportation has been paid. Therefore, please send your detailed itinerary to the transport coordinator Andreas ([email protected] ). If you need to call Andreas, his phone number is +46706890822. If you order the transport, you must pay for it even if you later decide not to use it.
Additional information:
Scales: Scales will be available at the official hotels, and at the venue.Training: Special training area will be available at Sundsvalls Powerlifting
Club (SAK) every weekday from 07:00 to 22:00. The training area is very close to the venue.
Flag and national anthem: Will be provided by the organizer.Closing banquet: Saturday 7th October, 20:00 at First Hotel Strand.
Price per ticket is 30 EUR.Participation fee: 50 EUR for each lifter must be paid by bank transfer to the IPF
bank account before the Technical meeting. An IPF invoice will besent by the IPF Treasurer seven days before the Technical meeting.
Anti-doping fee: 50 EUR for each lifter must be paid by bank transfer to the IPFbank account before the Technical meeting. An IPF invoice will besent by the IPF Treasurer seven days before the Technical meeting.
Opening ceremony: Tuesday 3rd October on 17:00 at the venue (Sporthallen). All representatives from each participating country shall take part atthe ceremony.
Nominations: Team nomination forms must be in the hands of the meet directorvia email [email protected] and the IPF championshipsecretary [email protected]. Dates for preliminary and final nomination can be read below.
Preliminary: 3rd August (complete filled in preliminary form must be sent. Nofinal nomination will be accepted if the preliminary nomination is not send in full).
Final: 11th September (later entries will not be accepted)

Important things to remember
Preliminary nomination forms must be sent no later than 60 days before the date of the championships. Final nominations must be submitted no later than 21 days before the date of the championships and must include only names from the preliminary nomination (i.e. only lifters from the preliminary nomination can be replaced by a substitute: No new nominations will be accepted).
According to the Technical Rules (Page 4, item 7), you must give a definite list of athletes at the final nomination, of who will take part in the championships. At the technical meeting you can only delete athletes from the final nomination. No more change of weight classes are allowed. Changes of the time table may occur. All changes will take place at the technical meeting the will be held on Monday October 2, 2017.
Victory ceremonies will be held at the end of each lifting session. It will be mandatory that each athlete wear their National Team Warm-up/Track suit for the award ceremony.
21 Days before Technical Meeting: 11 September 2017 is the latest date for any removal of nominated lifters or cancellation of booked hotel rooms. If no withdrawal is made 21 days prior to the Technical Meeting before a World championships or Cup, federations are bound to pay the reserved hotel rooms, participation and doping fees for all lifters specified at the final nomination form. (IPF-By-Laws105.5.2).
All athletes, coaches, referees and officials from each federation have to book their rooms by the organizer and have to stay in the official hotels during the entire time in attendance at the championship, otherwise they will be obliged to pay an administration fee of 100 EUR per person to organizer. Failure to comply will have the effect that they will not receive accreditation and will be excluded from that championship (IPF-By-Laws 105.4.4).
Indemnity and Insurance: All participating federations and its delegated athletes and officials agree to indemnity and not hold the organizing committee accountable for and against any claims for personal injury, financial loss, death or property damage, in any form, arising in any way resulting from the participation in, postponement or cancellation of the said World Championship.
