The AwARdThe IPRS pays for:

• Tuitionfees.

• CostofastandardoverseasstudenthealthcarecoverpolicyforstudentandanydependentsrelocatingtoAustraliawiththesuccessfulapplicant.

• CDUStudentServicesandAmenitiesfee.

PeRIod of TenuRe3yearsforPhD

2yearsforMastersbyResearch

IPRSarefundedbytheCommonwealthDepartmentofEducation&Trainingandareavailabletooutstandingoverseasstudents.

To be eligible, applicant must:• Beanoverseasstudent;

• MeetinternationalstudentvisarequirementsasspecifiedbytheAustralianDepartmentofImmigrationandCitizenship;

• Becommencingfull-timeenrolmentforthefirsttimeinaHigherDegreebyResearchatanAustralianUniversity;

• BeundertakingstudyinoneoftheUniversity’sresearchpriorityareas;

• Notholdanequivalent,orhigher,researchqualification;

• NothaveheldanAustraliaAwardScholarshipwithinthetwoyearspriortocommencingtheIPRS;

• NotbereceivinganyotherAustralianGovernmentfundedcoursetuitionscholarship.
