Problems with plant products
• Holland is small, crowded with lots of water. Also there is an intensive use of products and a very effective output.
• Products are not available due to 1.Economic reasons (few users and high admission
fees), 2.High groundwater level and 3.The densely populated area.
And…
• Rules & regulation
• Active substance illegal or not?
• Counterfeit from China or other
• Unknown products

Results of research
Examples from daily practice
• Dutch couple - via internet they offer in Germany products to use in Holland. One orders by e-mail, the product sent by mail, payment with credit card…
• Use in Holland (ground water level) allowed but under tight rules and regulations
Examples from daily practice II
• Administrative obligations for traders/users. The trader must inform to whom he sells his product. The GIS compares the information between trader and breeder. To circumvent this the product is bought in another country. The breeder stays “invisible.
• Bulb growers have grounds in France. Certain products are a third of the price compared to Holland.
• Substance? 37 vs 115 euro, with 60 Bottles: almost 5000 euro gain, and the fine? 360 euro
