The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) training programme at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust consists of a five week intensive study programme to help nurses prepare for their OSCE exam in order to gain their NMC PIN. Throughout the OSCE training programme, you will be supported by a dedicated trainer and given the opportunity to practise the skills which will be assessed in the OSCE itself such as: Vital signs Wound care Basic life support Safe administration of medication. We are looking to recruit nurses who wish to come and develop their nursing career in a world renowned specialist centre, delivering excellent standards of patient centered care in fast-paced clinical environments. We offer the following package to our international OSCE Nurses: A five week OSCE tuition programme prior to the OSCE – both paid for by the Trust A minimum of six months hospital accommodation of which the first two months are free of charge An airline ticket to the UK We provide a welcome pack worth up to £85 We fund your immigration health surcharge costs (terms and conditions apply). Continuing professional developmentOnce you’ve completed the OSCE training programme, you can continue to develop your cardio-respiratory nursing career by taking advantage of the many learning opportunities available to nurses in the Trust. “As well as dedicated classroom-based clinical and professional development programmes, a variety of additional resources are available via the Trust’s library and learning management system - including clinical study sessions and e-learning modules.

A comprehensive educational induction programme, including preceptorship, is provided to support your transition to working within each specialist area. This is followed by opportunities to develop your theoretical knowledge further in order to support your practical experience, and to equip you with the necessary skills in order to deliver excellent patient care.
