Whether it is a walk around the city center, a trip into the surrounding forest or a visit to a cosy café, there are lots of activities to keep you amused. For cross country skiers almost, all trails are open and there is a lot to explore. If you don’t do skiing (yet), you can just enjoy the beautiful surroundings and have fun in the snow. Where? These are just a very few places where you can start winter walks/tours or just stay; West: Sognsvann, Tryvann/Frognerseteren, North: Grefsenkollen, Linderudkollen, Groruddammen East: Skullerud, Bogerud/Rustadsaga. Great adventures can be just as strong on the short trips as on longer ones. Bring a primus, batter for pancakes and toddy or hot chocolate.
