By plane, two options:
1. SZG – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Airport Salzburg.
2. MUC – Franz Josef Strauss Airport Munich (with a
charge of EUR 55 per person / one way).

Timetable for Refereeing and Coaching Seminar
Day 1 – MON 14.01.2019
9:00 – 10:30 Session 1
Official Opening.
Kumikata: double sleeves, collar and lapel, leg between legs, bear hug.
11:00 – 12:30 Session 2
In-out: actions starting inside, pushing vs going out, ne-waza going out.
14:00 – 15:30 Session 3
Attacks: false attack, attack when uke is down, continuous attack using mat.
16:00 – 17:30 Session 4
Transitions: from tachi-waza into ne-waza, from ne-waza into tachi-waza
Kaeshi-waza.

Day 2 – TUE 15.01.2019
10:00 – 11:30 Session 5
Positive scores: ippon, waza-ari, no score, landing on two hands/elbows, turning opponent
situations.
Negative scores: activity vs passivity, prohibited joint locks.
12:00 – 13:30 Session 6
Others: stretching leg, osaekomi validity, tying belt, calling Mate on the right time.
Note
Examples each group: five clearly yes, five clearly no, five borderline situations.
15:00 – 16:00 Session 7
Presentation of the subjects of the Sport and Education Commissions. Official Closing.
Conditions of participation:
1. For the Sessions 1 to 6, the Participants will wear only white judogi, for the Session 7
(Education and Sport) the dress code is casual.
2. IJF is covering the costs for one referee and one coach from each National Federation in
double room and full board. Totally are three nights, starting on SUN 13.01.2019.
3. The transportation (by air, train or car) and other costs are on charge of the Participants.
4. The Organizer will assure the transfer, the arrival to be confirmed over up-mentioned
addresses.
5. Each participant must be registered in the IJF JUDOBASE. This could be done only by the
National Federation. If they are not registered, the IJF support will not apply.
6. Participation fee include transfer from airport or train station, three-night accommodation with
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
7. Transport from München Airport will be charged supplementary, as up-mentioned.
8. There are two categories of prices, corresponding to:
a single room EUR 490 / person
a double room EUR 390 / person
9. Deadline for registration in JUDOBASE and for accommodation is 11.12.2018.
10. Every National Federation can send a maximum of three (3) referees and two (3) coaches, this
including the supported ones by the IJF. If the maximal capacity is not reached, additional
delegates will be processed by date of inscription.
11. Each National Federation is directly responsible for its representatives. It must assume all
responsibility for accident and health insurance as well as civil liabilities during the IJF
Refereeing and Coaching Seminar 2019, for everyone under their charge.
NOTE:
All the referees from the Ranking list must attend the 2019 IJF Refereeing and Coaching
Seminar.
Consequently, they are in charge of clarifying and sharing the information and rules
acknowledged there for the referees and coaches from their own country.
In the light of this, in the upcoming period, after Mittersill, the National Federations will conduct
their own seminars with the technical assistance and support of the representatives who were
present at the IJF Seminar.
