Who we are looking for

SCHOTT offers a full-time opportunity for an interesting and challenging career start. We are looking for graduates who can meet our high expectations. To enable your success, you should have the following qualifications:

Minimum bachelor degree with above-average grades in the fields of: • Engineering (particularly mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering) • Business administration • Natural sciences (particularly physics, chemistry) or similar subjects.

Relevant professional experience through various internships and/or job training.

International experience through previous work experience, internships, or stays abroad.

A very good command of English and knowledge of another foreign language is preferred. A readiness for continuous personal and professional development.

Geographical flexibility, global thinking and ability to work effectivelyacross cultures.

Strong communication and teamworking skills.

International Focus

The SCHOTT International Graduate Program places great emphasis on the diversity and intercultural exchanges of our graduates.

International Graduate Meeting | Annual conference in Mainz, Germany followed by a week of joint training.

MARGA Competition | Business management simulation where 4–6 graduates work together to manage all of the departments and functions of a simulated company.

Global Graduate Project | A small international group of graduates is given a concept to develop and present directly to top mangaement in Mainz, Germany.

International Assignment | 3–6 months working abroad at another SCHOTT location.

The Program | During your time as a SCHOTT graduate you will have the oppor tunity to become familiar with several divisions and locations. From the very beginning, you will be involved in day-to-day business operations.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in interesting projects and to quickly assume responsibility for them. Thanks to the international orientation of our group, an assignment abroad lasting several months, is also a standard part of the program. Targeted personal development is achieved through training opportunities and development workshops.
