What will education--especially higher education look like by 2020? How will we get there? What can we do to prepare ourselves?
The world is changing more rapidly than higher education.
Goal: To provide a forum for existing and potential leaders in the Asia Pacific region to work collaboratively in shaping the future of higher education.

What are the changed characteristics of the 21st Century facing our students as they enter adulthood and the workplace?
What are the implications of these fundamental changes for Education?
What are the challenges, requirements, and strategies to bring about and implement fundamental changes and approaches to higher education?

Three seminars to produce Changing EducationAnnual seminars: (2006) Tensions between higher education as a public good and as a market commodity; (2007) Quality and quality Issues; (2008) Access, equity and capacity in Chia-yi, Taiwan; (2009) Higher Education Quality in the Emergent Knowledge Society in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; (2010) Migration and Mobility in Asia Pacific Higher Education, in Tokyo, Japan.
Leadership Institutes: (2005) 23 participants from five countries--paradigms in education; (2007) 15 participants from 8 countries--public good/private commodity; (2008) 15 participants, 9 countries--quality issues in higher education; 2009 17 participants from 9 countries, emergent knowledge society issues; 2010 September, Bangkok participants from eight countries.
