INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK Celebrated annually during the month of November, International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK Georgia Tech celebrates International Education Week (IEW) each year with a series of events that highlight Tech's international opportunities and that recognize the international accomplishments of Tech students, faculty, and staff. With the OIE Photo Contest and International Coffee Hour recurring annually, new events encouraging global engagement are introduced each year.
INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION WEEK The past couple years a special
emphasis has been placed on staff. International Education Week is about more than just information sessions for students: the hope is to truly internationalize our campus by bringing all parts of the Georgia Tech campus community together to celebrate the benefits of intercultural exchange. And this means you too! A series of events were arranged and specifically geared towards Georgia Tech faculty and staff.
