Poster Guidelines
Abstracts for the IDF 2017 Congress are selected for either Poster Display or Oral Poster
Presentation.
All posters need to be provided in printed paper versions and digital versions in pdf format for
inclusion in the Online Poster Library.
The deadline for submission of the digital poster is 12 November.
Poster Content
Posters must be free from branding and refer to products using generic names.

File format: PDF (.pdf)
Size: 1080 pixels width x 1536 pixels height
Font size: minimum 16
If you want to add a video to your poster, please observe the following technical requirements: File format: .pptx with embedded videofile Video formats: .mp4, .mpg, .mov, .avi Max. filesize: 40 MB (video included) Maximum: 1 video Sound: Not supported
Poster Display
Abstracts selected for Poster Display need to be provided in printed paper versions and
digital versions in pdf format for inclusion in the Online Poster Library.
Printed paper posters need to be installed in the poster area on Monday 4 December from
17:00 to 19:00 or on Tuesday 5 December from 9:30 to 11:30.
Poster authors are advised to be at their posters during the lunch hours of 11:45 to 12:45
on 5, 6 and 7 December to present their poster to passing delegates and answer questions
Poster authors for odd-numbered posters must be present at their poster from 11:45 to
12:45 on 5 December and poster authors for even-numbered posters must be present at
their poster from 11:45 to 12:45 on 6 December.
Oral Poster Presentation
Abstracts selected for Oral Poster Presentation need to be provided in printed paper
versions and digital versions in pdf format for inclusion in the Online Poster Library.
The Oral Poster Presentations will take place in the Oral Poster Theatres. This is setup as a
large screen for showing the digital poster, a lectern from which the author presents the
poster and seating and standing room for the audience. These sessions take place from
11:45 to 12:45 on 5, 6 and 7 December.
Oral posters are given 5 minutes: 3 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for
Q&A
