Cure International transforms the lives of disabled children and their families in the developing world through medical and spiritual healing, serving all by establishing specialty teaching hospitals, and advocating for children. A Christian nonprofit organization, Cure has focused its energy and resources on the 125 million in developing countries who can be cured from such aliments at Hydrocephalus, Cleft Palate, Club foot, Spina Bifida, other spinal deformities, and crippling orthopedic conditions. To date, Cure has helped more than 700,000 children.

Is7, a Blackbaud partner, has worked with some of the largest nonprofits in America and internationally to produce record-breaking results. The company helps organizations enhance their online presence with an integrated model consisting of innovative strategy, creative execution, and disciplined analysis.

Cure International needed to create a brand that would communicate its mission of healing disabled children to potential donors and supporters.

Cure International launched a website redesign effort. At that time, the organization had virtually a handful of online supporters and had only raised $5,000 online annually, so staff members maintained a modest expectation of gaining 1,200 email addresses within the year and increasing revenue.

Using the intuitive Blackbaud Sphere solution, is7 designed and implemented a rebranded website that focused on usability, allowing visitors to easily discover information and donate to Cure International.

Is7 developed a robust acquisition strategy, integrating viral marketing widgets, Forward to a Friend capability, event promotions, and segmented email appeals.

With new site architecture, design, and fundraising focus, Cure International's website re-launched and exceeded projected giving by 65% by year-end.

In less than seven months, Cure International more than tripled its acquisition projections.

During the first full calendar year, the organization increased its online donations at exponential rates — with more than $570,000 raised.
