About the Congress

The International Congress of Physical Education, Sports and Kinetotherapy

(ICPESK) is a multidisciplinary scientific event which aims to provide empirical

research, reviews and debates relating to sports science, physical education and

kinetotherapy.

ICPESK intends to bring together researchers, academics, teachers, graduate

and undergraduate students to share and approach both theoretical and practical

knowledge about sports science, physical education, kinetotherapy and other related

topics within a scientific environment.

ICPESK 2017 will be held in Bucharest, Romania, from 15 to 17 June, and

will be hosted by the National University of Physical Education and Sports. All

papers submitted will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, content,

appropriateness and relevance for the congress.

The 7th edition of the congress, ICPESK 2017, has the following sections:

History, Philosophy, Anthropology, Psychology and Sociology, Sports and

Performance, Physical Education and Teacher Training, Healthcare and

Kinetotherapy, Management and Marketing in Physical Education, Sports and

Kinetotherapy, Varia.

The issue of the 7th International Congress of Physical Education, Sports

and Kinetotherapy (ICPESK) will be published in the European Proceedings of

Social and Behavioral Sciences (EpSBS) and will be sent for indexation in

Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Science.

The papers accepted and presented at the 2016 International Congress of

Physical Education, Sport and Kinetotherapy (ICPESK) were published, with

permission of the authors, in Discobolul – Physical Education, Sport and

Kinetotherapy Journal – volumes 44, 45, 46 / 2016 and 47 / 2017.

Discobolul Journal is indexed in the following databases: DOAJ, ERIH-PLUS,

J-Gate, Journals Impact Factor, DAIJ, Index Copernicus, Eurasian Scientific Journal
