Description:

The course aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of the latest ACOG/ASCCP/USPSTF guidelines in the management of the abnormal cervico-vaginal cytological/and or HPV screening. The colposcopy workshop aims to update general gynecology practitioners on the art of colposcopy and the appearance of various cervical lesions in an interactive fashion with demonstration of cytological and colposcopic appearance of various cervical pre-curser lesions.

In view of the evolving data on various HPV screening tests and the constantly changing screening practices throughout the world, this course brings to participants the latest data on Pap smear/HPV screening algorithms and how they may impact cervical cancer control strategies. The colposcopy workshop will enhance the gynecologist’s ability to diagnosis and treat various cervical precancerous lesions and how to manage them and follow them up.

Pending availability participants may be exposed to a live demonstration.

Description:

This CME course consists of three modules. The first module reviews the value of first trimester ultrasound in screening for fetal aneuploidy, organ malformations, and pre-eclampsia. The second module tackles the role of ultrasound in managing pregnancies, complicated by fetal growth restriction and abnormally invasive placenta. The third module covers ultrasound imaging in special scenarios, namely in the Emergency Room, multiple gestation and preterm birth. Target audience includes obstetricians, sonologists, and sonographers.
