MEUCwasformedin1996tocaterforPrivate,Arabic,English,American,InternationalandIBCurriculumSchools.Thereareover40InternationalSchoolsthroughouttheGCCandMiddleEastparticipatinginourcompetitionsthisyear.VenueInternationalAmmanAcademy-Amman.An8lanesynthetictrack

TimingsDay1warmupstartsat8:00,eventsat9:00andestimatedfinish16:00Day2warmupstartsat9:00,eventsat10:00andestimatedfinish14:00ParticipantsRegionalSchoolAthleticTeamsbyinvitationonly.Therewillbeamaximumof10maleandfemalecompetitorsperagegroup.Visitingschoolshavenomaximumnumberofparticipants.EachAthletecanenterupto8events.AgeCategoriesTheeventswillbedividedintothefollowingagecategories:(ageofathletesonApril13th,2018),12andUnder/13-14/and15-16/17+.AwardsMedalswillbeawardedto1st,2ndand3rdPlace.Therearenoteamtrophiesthisisanindividualevent.OfficiatingEachinternationalteamwillalsosupplyoneofficialtoassistinofficiating.Localteamswillsupplytwoofficials.Competitionruleswillbereleasedonthe1stofMarch2018QualifyingTimes-astheseeventsareseededthereisnoqualifyingtimerequirements.Heatswillbearrangedbytimesnotage.AdministrationofMeetWewillbeusingHy-TeksoftwareandCEIL10UltrakTimingSystem,sotherewillbeverylittlewaitingtimebetweenevents.Thiswillbealargeeventwithinexcessof300participantsestimated.Entryformswillbesenttoteamsthatconfirmparticipationbythe1stofMarch.Entryformsmustbereturnedbythe15thofMarchforHy-Tekandexcelentries.Registrationisbyemailoncampozq8@yahoo.comEvents:100m,200m,400m,800m,1500m,3000m.HighJump,LongJump,TripleJump,DiscusandShotPut.

CostMEUCeventsareallinclusiveandtherearenoentrancefeesforvisitingInternationalteams.Schools.Paymentisdueonthe1stofApril.Dhs1,600perathlete–allincl.2nights.OnefreetwincoachesroomperteamDhs1,900perathlete–allincl.3nights,onenightBedouinCampLittlePetra.
