Dear 5-a-side soccer fans,

It took a bit longer to arrange our 9th edition of the tournament, but we’re sure that the results for this year will please you.

As you may know, the COPA DEL MAR is a ‘travelling’ tournament. Which means that we like to offer you each year a new destination. In this way you enjoy new adventures and have new places to visit.After Barcelona (SP), N-Porto (P), Zakynthos (GR), Pinarella di Cervia (I), Salou (SP), Riccione (I) and Porec (HR) we thought to organize it again in Portugal.Since the elections made it hard to assure us that we could rent the sport fields we decided to forget that idea until 2019.Instead we looked direction Greece. Only 2012 took us there.

To find on such short notice on a late date available hotels, which are based near the beach and a town, airport within 75 minutes from the holiday destination and with an available sport field…It was a race against the clock but we managed.

Fly-in on the lively mega town Athens, cradle of Europe. A 55 minutes’ drive, takes you to the 2nd biggest island in Greece, Evia! The capital of Evia: Chalkis, a sparkling young Greek town with 120.000 inhabitants and shopping, bars, disco’s & restaurants also connects the island with the mainland. 15 minutes more and you reach a small town situated in beautiful green surroundings: Eretria!

The town host our tournament on their sport fields with natural grass pitch. As neighbours we’ve the interesting archeologic site and his museum. The fields lay between 2.5 - 3.5 km from the sport fields. Each hotel has his own character and advantages.

A real basic 3*. A great top 4* that we completely have for our own and the 5* for those who like luxe.We’ve a limited total of rooms for each hotel. We plan to welcome a limited amount of teams. So it will be all a question of no delays to ensure your choice. Because our rule is: full = full!

So, those who like to enjoy the hospitality of this green and relaxed part of Greece, we welcome you with open arms.
