Key Words: Language, Words, Interjections

Language can express everything in people mind by using it. In a

language, we will find many kind of words because the messages of the language

is from their words which are delivered by the speaker in conversation. Every

words have a meaning, and there are words and utterances that grammatically

have no connection with the previous or those followed sentences that can give a

meaning to show their feeling and emotion when the speaker deliver the

utterances. That word is Interjections. Interjection is a word which uses to express

the sensation of the speaker when they make a conversation or just talking by

themselves. Interjection has many kinds of forms and also they have a function

that explains the meaning of speaker’s sensation.

The purpose of this research is to find out the answer from statement of

the problems, what are the forms of interjection used in Teenage Mutant Ninja

Tutles 2014 movie dialogues and what are the functions of interjection found in

Teenage Mutant Ninja Tutles 2014 movie dialogues. This is the qualitative

research. The qualitative research will not give the numeral or statistic but it

depends on the knowledge of researcher in analyzing data because the data are

reported in utterances.

The data source was taken from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014

movie dialogues. It was downloaded from www.springfieldspringfield.co.uk. The

data are collected from the utterances that produced by the all characters that use

interjections.

In the result of the research, the writer found 3 forms of Interjections in

the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 movie dialogues, they are words (7

interjections), sound of sense (3 interjections), and phrases (2 interjections), the

interjections are: hey(11), oh(16), yeah(7), hello(2), ah(2), oh no(7), ugh(1),

ow(1), damn(1), wow(4), shit(1), my gosh(1). And from the classification of

interjections function, there are 10 functions of interjections found, they are:

Seeking attention (13), surprise (14), joy (7), wonder (8), fear (6), disgust (1), pain

(2), anger (1), irritation (1) and pleasure (1). Based on the result of analysis, the

writer concludes that the most of utterances that use interjections have a function

to express surprise. It can be seen from the utterances of the all characters in

uttering interjections to express their feeling when they get something surprising

or unpredictable for them.

By studying interjections, we can know the use of language to express

our feeling or understand the people’s feeling when they use interjections in their

utterances. It will be important to us in communicating each other.

Bahasa bisa mengekspresikan segalanya yang orang pikirkan dengan

menggunakannya. Dalam bahasa, kita akan menemukan banyak jenis kata karena

pesan dari bahasa adalah dari kata-kata mereka yang disampaikan oleh pembicara

dalam percakapan. Setiap kata memiliki arti, dan ada kata dan ucapan-ucapan

yang secara gramatikal tidak memiliki hubungan dengan sebelumnya atau

kalimat-kalimat yang diikuti yang dapat memberikan arti untuk menunjukkan

perasaan dan emosi mereka ketika pembicara menyampaikan ucapan. Kata itu

adalah interjeksi. Interjeksi adalah kata yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan

perasaan pembicara ketika mereka membuat percakapan atau hanya berbicara

sendiri. Interjeksi memiliki berbagai jenis bentuk dan juga mereka memiliki

fungsi yang menjelaskan makna perasaan si pembicara.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jawaban dari

pernyataan masalah, apa bentuk kata seru digunakan di dialog film Teenage

Mutant Ninja Tutles 2014 dan apa fungsi seru ditemukan di dialog film Teenage

Mutant Ninja tutles 2014. Ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif

tidak akan memberikan angka atau statistik tetapi penelitian tergantung pada

pengetahuan peneliti dalam menganalisis data karena data yang dilaporkan dalam

ucapan-ucapan.

Sumber data diambil dari dialog film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

2014. Itu download dari www.springfieldspringfield.co.uk. Data dikumpulkan

dari ucapan-ucapan yang dihasilkan oleh semua karakter yang menggunakan kata

seru.

Dalam hasil penelitian, penulis menemukan 3 bentuk interjeksi di

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 dialog film, bentuknya yaitu kata (7

interjeksi), bunyi rasa (3 interjeksi), frase (2 interjeksi), interjeksi-interjeksinya

yaitu: hey, oh, yeah, hello, ah, oh no, ugh, ow, damn, wow, shit, my gosh. Dan dari

klasifikasi kata seru fungsi, ada 10 fungsi kata seru yang ditemukan, mereka:

Mencari perhatian (13), kejutan (14), sukacita (7), heran (8), ketakutan (6), jijik

(1), nyeri (2), marah (1), iritasi (1) dan kesenangan (1). Berdasarkan hasil analisis,

penulis menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian ucapan-ucapan yang menggunakan kata

seru memiliki fungsi untuk mengekspresikan kejutan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari

ucapan semua karakter dalam mengucapkan kata seru untuk mengekspresikan

perasaan mereka ketika mereka mendapatkan sesuatu yang mengejutkan atau

tidak terduga bagi mereka.

Dengan mempelajari kata seru, kita bisa mengetahui penggunaan bahasa

untuk mengekspresikan perasaan kita atau memahami perasaan orang lain ketika

mereka menggunakan kata seru dalam ucapan mereka. Ini akan menjadi penting

untuk kita dalam berkomunikasi satu sama lain.
